How to Plant

Fall Blend will perform best in a well prepared seed bed. Work the soil until it is clump free and level with a drag. You can plant this blend with a drill or with a hand seeder. Do not plant deeper than ΒΌ inch. To cover the seed use a cultipacker or a light drag. For best results have soil tested at your local co-op and apply the recommended amount of lime and fertilizer. If a soil test is not done, apply 1 ton of Lime per acre and 250 lbs. of 13-13-13 fertilizer.

When to Plant

Plant Fall Blend in the northern half of the US 30 to 45 days prior to the first frost, depending on soil moisture and future forecasted rain. In the southern half of the US plant anytime after September 1 with adequate soil moisture.
